â Quick answer
Existing members, make sure you're logged in when uploading to the chat, or sending the email using the same email you login with us: your attachments are automatically uploaded to your chart. Youâll get our standard confirmation email; no need to resend.
New to our clinic or writing from a different email: we received your files and will add them to your chart during review. No need to resend - but it doesn't connect to your chart until you start with us.
đ§ What this covers
Old medical records (clinic notes, discharge summaries)
Lab and imaging reports (PDFs, screenshots are okay)
Genetic test reports (consumer or medical-grade panels)
Medication lists and prior treatment plans
đ How the process works
You send your files via email or chat
Auto-upload happens if youâre an existing member writing from the email on file.
Manual review happens if youâre new or using a different email - just let us know so our team can attach your files to your chart during intake review.
We review and follow up. If we need anything else (like a clearer copy, missing page, or helping clarify your decision between options), weâll reach out.
Tip: Duplicate files are common. Please donât worry about sending something twiceâweâll keep the most complete version.
đ§Ș How we handle genetic test results
We look for actionable findings (pharmacogenomics, carrier status, cardiometabolic risk, nutrient pathways) in your raw DNA (we're not just looking at the reports).
We consider context: your goals, symptoms, labs, family history, and lifestyle.
Some consumer tests reports are directional rather than diagnostic; weâll let you know when confirmatory testing or clinical follow-up is useful.
đ File types and quality
Best formats: PDF, JPG/PNG screenshots, DOCX. ZIP files for RAW DNA.
Make it readable: if itâs a photo, try to flatten the page, fill the frame, and check for blur.
Big files: long PDFs are fine; multi-part imaging CDs often include a report PDF. We use radiology image (DICOM) viewers.
đ§ Want to move things along faster?
Sharing any of the following (if easy) helps us review more quickly:
A brief âtop questionâ you want answered first
A current meds/supplements list and key allergies
The date range of the records you sent (âcardiology notes 2022â2024â)

âCommon questions
Do I need to rename or organize files?
No. If you can, descriptive names help (e.g., âCardio_Echo_Report_2023.pdfâ), but weâll sort it out either way.
Should I resend if I forgot a page?
You can send the missing page alone, or whatever is convenient. Weâll merge it with what we have, and work with what you have.
What if my report is inside a patient portal?
A PDF export or clear screenshots work well. If export isnât available, a short note with the portal name helps us locate it together later.
Will you let me know if something didnât come through?
Yes. If a file is corrupted or unreadable, weâll reach out for another copy.
