How It Works
Open the chat icon on our website or send a text to the clinic number.
Review the quick privacy notice (all messages are HIPAA-protected).
Briefly describe your concern; for example: “Left ear pain since yesterday.”
Answer a few follow-up questions so we have the full picture.
Upload photos or files if helpful.
You’re done. Your conversation is tagged for clinician review and most replies arrive the same day.
What Happens After You Finish
During business hours a licensed clinician reviews every answer, writes an internal note, and drafts your reply.
A human always approves or edits the response before it is sent.
Messages sent after hours get a human review first thing the next business morning.
Privacy and Security
All chats are encrypted in transit and stored in our HIPAA-compliant system. Only your Fishtown Medicine care team can view them. If you are using SMS, text STOP at any time to opt out.
